The Greene County wrestlers planned to travel to Saydel on Dec. 16, but due to storms and the extensive damage in the community Dec. 15, they missed the meet.
On Saturday, Dec. 18, the Rams hit the road to wrestle at the Carroll Invitational Tournament, bringing home fifth place as a team.
Nine Rams placed in their brackets with two first place finishes, McKinley Robbins at 132 and Nathan Black at 160. Brenner Gallagher, 138, and Gavin Scheuermann, 152, each took second in their weight class. Jacob Harmeyer finished in third at 113; Noble Hoyt at 170 and Michael Rumley at 220 each took fourth and Gavyn Winters finished fifth at 106. Crew Conner also placed, finishing sixth in the 120 class.
